It had been 3 days now since the victory over the lands of Britain. Sir Francois was now the unchallenged Count and ruler of the lands. As part of the negotiations that Tirvor had arranged, Sir Adrien was given the title of Castellan and give a role to play in the management of the lands, under the surpervision of the Count, of course. While Tirvor knew there would be mistrust both ways at first, in the long run, it should stabalize out and realize in a good cooperation, so long as both were true to their word. Besides, Tirvor mused, the negotiations accomplished exactly what he wanted - it ended the war, ended the suffering of the peasants, and brought peace back to the land.
That's when he heard that those responsible for the disappearance of his family were here and after him. With the efficiency they had shown elsewhere, Tirvor figured he would be gone by nightfall. But night came and went without any sign of the riders of the black horses.
This allowed him to participate in the battle against Legion on Sunday. The battle did confirm one thing; Eliam was indeed evil, just like he always believed. Tirvor had no problems fighting his ally, nor with the instructions that came from Sir Francois and Sir Winsthroft to kill Eliam. He had promised Domino not to kill him until he had proof. Well, now he did. And thus Eliam was killed, and by proxy, Legion was also killed and banished from the world... well, except for that other Book...
But this also allowed Tirvor to realize that it wasn't Eliam. It was Legion. Legion who had ripped Ateus's heart out. Legion who had killed his son. He could not hold a grudge against a man who was possessed. There was now a sort of inner peace within him, that justice had been found, and the one truly responsible was dead and banished. Therefore Tirvor had been there for Eliam's ressurection to welcome him back to the world. It would be difficult adjusting, after living those years with hatred, but he would make the effort.
And with that done, Tirvor waited for his enemies that day. But again they didn't come. Nor were they there on the Monday. Perhaps the information from Captain Thomas Payne was innacurate... or another one of his entertaining stories. Either way, Tirvor was tired of waiting. He had better things to do, and could possibly accomplish much before that confrontation occured. Yes, there was something that he needed to do. Something that was the right thing to do.
So on Tuesday, Tirvor went to speak to Sir Francois de la Britain. He had a favor to ask the lord. They discussed for a while in private, covering a few subjects. When the meeting was over, he went to find Nienna, Francois's ever-loyal serf. He talked to her for a bit, explaining the relevant parts of the discussion he had with the Count, and the two went for a walk into the woods. They came back not long after.
Now, of course, Tirvor had to ensure that his theory was right. His entire plan - more of a gamble, actually - hinged on one fact, which he needed to prove.. or be able to bluff his way through the proof, but of course, then he risked that maybe he was wrong. Tirvor shrugged. The pieces of the puzzle before him certainly fit together into the picture he could see. Oh well, he'll just trust in Valedens' luck to guide him, as he always has.
Tirvor encountered Dame Laure-Emanuelle walking in the hallways of the manor. He stopped to talk with her a bit, asking her how Sir Adrien was, as she had been asigned to watch over him. Likewise, he was curious as to her future plans were now that the lands were back under their control. He was surprised to learn she was eager to continue adventuring, but when explained why, he understood. Her next stop, along with the Meute, was the lands of the Marquis de Sadis. Of course, their discussion then lead to where Draken would be heading. The Countesse was also concerned for Tirvor after he explained that his enemies had found him, but he assured her that there was nothing she could do. Tirvor accepted his fate, and she should accept it to.
After leaving the Countesse, Tirvor proceeded to find one of the new Castellans of the lands of de la Britain. Thus he went to Sir Adrien's office for another private conversation.
